About The Design

Well, I had decided it has been a little too long since I've made a CimplX Design, although it's also been a while since I've made a DX-Design as well, but that's beside the point.

I don't really know what inspired this design, but I can tell you a couple of nifty things about it. For one, it's made completely with DIVs. I discovered a method through CSS that allows you to make table-like designs using only DIVs, and this method is XHTML valid, and doesn't have any funky corks in it. For example, when I used to make DIVs like this, I would use FLOAT on navigation portion, but if for some reason the content took up less space than the navigation, the page would look all funky... It's difficult to explain, but I'm sure you get the point. Regardless, this is going to help ensure I never have to use tables again, lol.

Another nifty thing about the design you might want to note: This design is not only a fixed design, but also makes a great Fluid Design as well!
